Who else has Mum wrinkles on the inside of one of Who else has Mum wrinkles on the inside of one of their wrists?! 👀 I am listening to the new @m.is.for.mama book and she had a chapter on the glorious but very real toll that childbearing (especially a lot of childbearing) has on your body. She mentioned the lines up one of her wrists where she has carried her babies and toddlers on her hip for years (we all have a preferred side for this). I took a look a there they are! Turns out you can spot a mother by her wrists! 😅 How have I never noticed them before?! There are very much there and I actually love them because of what they represent 👩🏼‍🍼👩🏼‍🍼👩🏼‍🍼👩🏼‍🍼👩🏼‍🍼👩🏼‍🍼 Now I am curious who else has them and how many babies do you have ? First day back 📚 📸 Here is to all the other Homes First day back 📚 📸 Here is to all the other Homeschoolers starting back today ✨ It is so fun but boy was today a lot 🫣 My carefully crafted timetable is already full of alterations and reshuffles after just one day. My few years of homeschooling wisdom dictates that I should hold off any laminating of timetables and task charts until at least next week 🤪 In some ways each year gets easier as I know a little more of what to expect, but each year is also different with new grades, classes and more babies! This year we have Year 6 🇬🇧/ 5th Grade 🇺🇸 Year 4 🇬🇧/ 3rd Grade 🇺🇸 Year 2 🇬🇧/ 1st Grade 🇺🇸 Reception 🇬🇧/preschool 🇺🇸 Toddler 👶🏼 Newborn 👶🏼 We have been ‘year round’ homeschoolers for six years now but the birth of Otis at the start of July ushered us into a longer summer break than we would usually take. It has been wonderful to soak up his newborn days and enjoy a slower pace this summer but I think we are all ready for some structure and routine again. Everyone meet Otis Boone Wylie 💙 ‘Otis Boone’: together, his name means ‘wealthy and prosperous in good blessings’. That sentiment feels spot on. Never have we felt more blessed, or more prosperous in the things that matter most ✨✨ We are all doing really well and enjoying some downtime getting to know this sweet boy. #wyliediaries
