There are 36374638 things that I do each day for m There are 36374638 things that I do each day for my family as a wife, mother, homemaker and educator because I know that they are important and serve my family. I clean, do laundry, cook, kiss bumped knees, change diapers, load and unload the dishwasher more times that you would think is possible. I teach and correct and organize and drive and cook again. The list goes on.

Yet in all of the busy work it is SO easy to forget to do the most impactful thing that I can do for them. Pray.

I desperately want to be the mother and wife that takes time each day to pray over each one of my children and thank God for them and the same for J and our marriage… but it just wasn’t happening.

That is why this year I started committing to praying for each one of them as I made their bed each morning. Something that I don’t forget to do - because I can see it!

When I take that time in prayer I am reminded of the big picture which is so valuable in these little years of diapers and bumps and sticky hands.

✨ “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us” (1 John 5 v 14) ✨

Arlo - “well… *pause* … when he dies I will marry you” 😳😱

He has been such a champ through this 👊🏻 Hopefully he can start healing well and we can keep infections away 🙏🏻 He has at least a couple of weeks of bandaged hands ahead of him and some exercises that he will need to start once he gets some more movement to make sure that the skin doesn’t heal too tight and restrict the movement that he has in his hands 😳🥴
Swimming in blessing over here 🏊🏻‍♀️ …❤️ #wyliediaries
